Sidus BioData runs VMware vSphere 4, including VMware HA (High Availability) & VMware VMotion. The Cloud utilizes clustered Dell PowerEdge servers connected to a high-performance Fibere Channel Storage Area Network, where FreezerPro, ezColony, Sciency ELN or LIMS 24/7 Virtual Machines and their data reside. If any server fails, all virtual machines running on a failed server automatically restart on another server within the cluster – with no changes required to applications or software!
